Bluetooth AOA positioning management project for an e-commerce warehouse center

Project Background

The customer is a regional large-scale e-commerce distribution center with more than 3,000 SKUs. The average daily incoming and outgoing orders are large. The manual search efficiency is low, the inventory cycle is long, and the mis-shipment rate is high. There is an urgent need for a low-cost, easy-to-implement, and quick-to-go indoor positioning system to improve the efficiency and management level of warehousing operations.


Cooperation Content

Deployed 68 Bluetooth AOA positioning base stations, equipped with 860 asset positioning tags, 120 personnel positioning tags, and 36 forklift vehicle tags, built a positioning engine and visual management platform, and completed the docking with the customer's existing WMS warehouse management system to achieve integrated real-time positioning of people, vehicles, and goods, intelligent scheduling, safety control, and automatic inventory.


Project Results

1. Product level: The positioning accuracy is stable 0.5-1m, the storage area is fully covered without blind spots, the system concurrency is stable, alarms are responded to in real time, and the inventory accuracy rate reaches 99.9%.

2. Customer value: The efficiency of finding goods is increased by 80%, the inventory cycle is shortened from 3 days to 8 hours, the order processing efficiency is increased by 50%, and the wrong and missed shipment rate is reduced to less than 0.1%, significantly reducing labor costs and operational losses.
