Project Background
A provincial emergency management department is responsible for rescue missions in mountainous areas, woodlands and disaster-prone areas. After a disaster, the public network is easily interrupted, and there are no satellite signals inside the temporary command tents and emergency cabins. Emergency terminals cannot locate and access the network, and short messages cannot be sent and received. There is an urgent need for a satellite coverage solution that only extends signals and does not rely on real-time positioning solutions.
Cooperation Content
1. Product application: Deploy 12 sets of receiving antennas, 12 signal forwarding hosts, and 48 sets of indoor coverage antennas, covering 12 fixed emergency backup points and 32 temporary disaster relief sites.
2. Implementation highlights: The equipment is lightweight and fast to set up, and one person can complete the startup deployment within 5 minutes.; Pure signal forwarding mode does not occupy computing power and does not rely on background positioning calculations. It provides an available signal environment as soon as it is turned on.
Project Results
1. Product level: Emergency area signal coverage is 100%, RNSS signals are stable and can be captured by terminals, RDSS short message sending and receiving success rate is 99.7%, and single message delay is ≤55ms.
2. Customer value: The emergency communication support capability is improved by 70% in the scenario of public network interruption, the response time for disaster reporting is shortened by 60%, and basic satellite communication support is achieved in the environment without public network or real-time positioning system.
Customer Feedback
“The device only extends the signal and does not rely on background positioning. It can be used immediately after powering on. It is very stable at disaster sites and remote mountainous areas, and completely solves the problem of no signal available for our emergency terminals. ”
