Project Background
A large equipment manufacturing enterprise has a large factory area, dense equipment, and frequent forklift operations. There are problems such as difficulty in supervising personnel at work, slow material search, uncontrollable forklift safety, and easy loss of key assets. It urgently needs a stable and reliable UWB high-precision positioning system to achieve integrated safety and efficiency management of people, vehicles, equipment, and materials.
Cooperation Content
1. Product application: Deploy 136 UWB-TDOA positioning base stations, 380 personnel positioning cards, 62 forklift vehicle tags, and 420 asset positioning tags, equipped with UWB positioning engine and visual management platform, to complete the connection with the customer's MES system.
2. Implementation highlights: Base station deployment is optimized for complex environments with dense steel structures and equipment obstructions. The tags have low power consumption and long battery life. The system supports thousands of people and thousands of vehicles online at the same time. Functions such as electronic fences, speed warnings, trajectory playback, and area prohibition can be enabled with one click.
Project Results
1. Product level: stable positioning accuracy of 10-20cm, full coverage without blind spots, system online rate of 99.9%, alarm response < 1 second, and historical tracks can be saved for ≥ 1 year.
2. Customer value: The staff arrival efficiency increased by 45%, forklift safety accidents dropped by 80%, tooling and mold search time was shortened by 75%, asset inventory efficiency increased by 65%, and safety management and production efficiency were upgraded simultaneously.
Customer Feedback
The UWB positioning system is stable, reliable, and fast to implement. It perfectly solves the problem of visual management and control of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and materials in the factory, greatly improves safety levels and operational efficiency, and is the core support system for smart factory construction.
